It’s the little things that count the most. It’s funny where these reminders pop up at times. Sometimes you just see a guy in a big poofy hat. When you do, you’re reminded not to take life so seriously.
Words can’t really describe what I saw, but what the hell, I write stuff so I might as well try. As I was in the hustle of my daily to do’s, I was driving down the road to see a man in a large poofy green hat. It was enormous. It was rolled up slightly towards the sides, as if to portray a cowboy hat. Let’s combine a Cowboy hat with an Irish hat of sorts. That’s how I’d describe it. Except, it was enormous. And poofy.
Have the image yet? Now, I don’t know if the man intends to brighten people’s day, or just really likes that hat. I don’t aim to mock him, yet the large smile across his face, combined with his confident walk, shouts “Look at me! I’m happy, and you should be too!” It’s as if he’s out to brighten the world and is confident enough in himself to do so, even while wearing a hat that many might laugh at him for. Well, my friend, I am with you on this one.
Enjoy the little things in life.
Sometimes you just see a man in a big poofy hat. You’re running around and “getting things done” but then you see something that’s just plain awesome. Let’s open our eyes so we don’t miss any of these people in big poofy hats. Let’s not forget to stop and enjoy the other wonderful and awesome things that may happen upon us. Sometimes the only boost we need is right in front of our faces, but we are too “blind” to notice them. It’s up to us. We can slow down and enjoy life. Or we can rush around and act busy and miserable. Hell, we can even put on a big poofy hat.
