Are you experiencing a significant change in life? While it might serve as a great thing, it can also bring stress and uncertainty. There is light ahead, however. As with many changes in life, in time, we adapt to what is around us. While some things may seem difficult or challenging at first, they often become second nature as we repeat what we do day after day.
The old phrase “practice makes perfect” makes great sense. If we do anything enough times, that thing becomes simpler. If you are feeling overwhelmed with a change of any sort, hang in there, power through, and know you will be okay.
Also, remember that “practice makes perfect” is not 100% correct. If we practice something the “wrong” way, it will be tough to improve. Hence, when dealing with change or something unfamiliar, perfect practice makes perfect. If you’re not getting the desired result, see what might change to help meet the goal. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Remember that different might be enlightening and refreshing. Although it might be difficult at first, powering through and looking for the positive can help give the positive perspective needed. Change is tough, but we are even tougher.
At times we must mix things up for a new look on the day. Establishing a life of repetition is easy. Deciding to take a different route somewhere, approaching a situation differently, or some other similar method can help increase our perspective and teach something new.
Change is often good. Different is often beautiful. If we never feel uncomfortable in situations, it’s tough to grow and expand. Take the moments of difference to enhance life.
